St. Elizabeth's Rotating Art Exhibit

About the Program

Art can play a powerful role in bringing comfort and relief to those receiving treatment or care in a hospital setting.  HSHS St. Elizabeth’s Hospital is proud to showcase the work of local and regional artists to further enhance the healing environment we have made inside and out at our newly built facility.

Therefore, St. Elizabeth’s is providing public space at the hospital for visual artists to display their work for approximately five months per show. Participation requires submission of the attached application and adherence to the noted requirements on the application.

The art exhibits will be displayed along the hallway of the hospital’s main lobby.  A committee of colleagues, community members and local artists oversees the art program.

How to Apply

Artists interested in participating must complete and submit an application. A portfolio of work is required.

As we are a Franciscan health care ministry, work must be appropriate for a public building and complement the healing atmosphere of the hospital. More detailed guidelines are noted in the application.
